I worked with Builders Club to model and texture high quality 3D assets of the new Beats Studio Buds + products. These models were used for a campaign film featuring Cardi B, as well as an in depth Behind the Design film which highlights the features and design traits of the product. The videos were featured across Beats by Dre's website and social channels. The featured product has a transparent plastic shell, which meant even internal features and components would be visible and all of these details needed to be included in the model. The product also needed to hold up in some extreme close up shots, so a very refined level of texturing and attention to detail was required for every aspect.
The talented crew at Dirty Puppet were invited by Node Fest – Australia’s Premiere Motion Design & Animation event – to create the opening titles for the 2023 festival. The concept was an eclectic take on a 90's inspired sitcom opener, featuring a misfit cast of 2D and 3D characters and its own catchy theme song. I jumped at the chance to get involved in this creative and original project, and took on the role of 3D Design Lead. Working from concept artwork, I brought several of the sets and environments to life in 3D, focusing on bringing lots of nostalgic detail, props and texture to the scenes. I also helped out with texturing several of the 3D characters.

As part of Super Bowl week, creative studio Builders Club was invited to collaborate with Nike and Sphere in Las Vegas to bring a never-before-seen Nike campaign. I was fortunate enough to asked by Builders Club to help out on this epic project.
Sphere is the biggest LED screen in the world, giving the ultimate opportunity to push creativity in promoting the new Nike Air Max DN sneaker.
The campaign focused on nostalgia, introducing toys or characters that were iconic to the Nike brand or the viewer. The entire dome acts as an old school toy game.
The teaser film went live on billboards in NYC with the main reveal film going live on Sphere during Super Bowl week as well as across Nike’s social channels.
My role in the project was the development of several of the featured toys, from concept development right through to modelling and texturing of the final 3D assets.
I worked with Builders Club to produce a high quality 3D asset for use in the new Beats Studio Pro commercial. This included modelling, retopologizing and texturing both external and internal components of the headphones. The model needed to hold up in some extreme close up shots, so a very refined level of texturing and attention to detail was required for every aspect of the model.
I was approached by Builders Club to help them out on a Nike Lebron XX shoe launch campaign video.
We were supplied an existing manufacturing 3D model of the shoe by Nike but this was in need of significant improvements to bring the asset up to scratch for the product film.
My role was to refine and in some cases remodel parts of the shoe, as well as produce high quality textures for rendering in Redshift in order to closely match the real shoe. This included creating a complex custom woven fabric texture in Substance Designer, as well as a woven tongue label.

I helped MISTER to create a highly detailed 3D model of the show logo based on a design sketch by Luke Lucas. The 3D logo was a primary feature of the broadcast package and opening titles for the show.
I assisted Builders Club with 3D modelling and texturing of 4 featured chairs for the Herman Miller Gaming 'More Than Just a Chair' campaign.
I worked with the design team at ANZ Plus to model a series of bespoke 3D icons in their signature brand style. Each 3D artwork was crafted to clearly convey its intended message in a playful, graphic and tactile manner.

UK based motion design studio BLIND was asked to assist the Mission Impossible franchise with computer graphics for the latest film – Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1.
For one particular scene set in an airport, BLIND engaged me to help out with the modelling of a complex and detailed 3D ghosted map.
The map was constructed with reference to LiDAR scans of the real airport, photographs and footage from the sets. Architectural details, shops, retail fittings, signage and other elements were custom modeled to create a convincing representation of the airport and link back to the shot scenes.
Product renders commissioned by The Thrills to illustrate the packaging for Nestle Chokito Bites. The chocolate, rice crispies and caramel fudge inclusions needed to be rendered in realistic and "craveable" detail to illustrate the flavours and textures of the product.

I worked with Mister to provide models and custom textures for this King Living product film to communicate the features of their Sleep+ mattress range.
I built detailed 3D models of all the internal and external parts of the mattresses that accurately replicated the real products.
The mattresses feature several unique custom fabrics which I recreated in Substance Designer to realistically convey textures, surfaces, stitching and weaves. The CoolFit fabric was especially technical to create as it had an irregular quilted surface overlaid with woven fabric.

These 3D rendered characters were created for The Thrills as part of their Allen's branding and packaging redesign. Using ZBrush and Cinema 4D, the characters were brought to life in 3D based on some simple 2D concept sketches and paying homage to the original Allen's characters.
I created these front of pack hero renders for the Allen’s Bites chocolate coated range.

These Australian plants and trees were modelled for a Powershop TV commercial and campaign imagery, produced by Yes Captain. We had a lot of fun developing a stylised look and hand painted textures for the plants, whilst giving them a distinct and recognisable Australiana feel.

This fully CGI TV commercial was created by Method Studios for the annual Target Toy Sale.
Working as part of the modelling team, I built several key assets for the project, as well as many of the toys that appear in the background of the commercial.
These models were created referencing early concept artwork, and were built to allow for texturing, rigging and animation to be undertaken further along the CGI pipeline. Due to the huge amount of detail and animation in each shot, it was important to keep the models as simple as possible and the polygon counts low.

For this project I worked with production company Mister to produce 3D models and textures for use in an animated product film demonstrating King Living’s Jasper modular sofa.

Production artwork created for Roll Ups packaging.
The product images needed to be integrated with existing sketched elements, so it was essential that the composition and perspective of the images were created to match with the original design layouts.
The products were rendered in a stylised ‘hyperreal’ (as opposed to photo-realistic) style to demonstrate the playful, colourful nature of the product.
